Voting Records for State & Federal Officials

The John Birch Society has established the The Freedom Index which rates legislators on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements.  The site includes historical voting records from previous terms whether in Congress or the State Legislature.

This tool is the best way to quickly check if your representative is voting consistent with the U.S. Constitution!

The listing (updated twice per year) is the key (6-10) votes and not a complete list of votes.  To view their complete voting record, you must go to the state website or federal website and search.  This is why the John Birch Society's Freedom Index is a handy tool - it tells you what a good vote should be (with an explanation of why) and compares the legislator's vote.
