Our Mission
The Republican Party of Merced County (RPMC) is a local organization dedicated to promoting conservative values and principles within the community. The RPMC focuses on key issues such as election integrity, fiscal responsibility, and the protection of individual freedoms. The organization actively engages in various activities, including community events, regular meetings, and volunteer opportunities.
Goals of the Republican Party of Merced County
1.Electing Republican Candidates to Office
One of RPMC’s primary goals is to elect strong, electable Republican candidates to represent conservative values. Real change can only happen when we have Republican leaders who stand firm in their commitment to these values and morals. Winning elections at all levels—local, special district, county, state, and federal—is essential to ensure that our principles are represented in government.
2.Engaging Republican Voters and Independents
Another critical objective is to engage “closet Republicans” and those Republicans who did not vote in the 2024 Presidential Election. In Merced County, Republicans had 39,585 registered voters compared to 53,710 registered Democrats. Despite this, President Trump won Merced County against Kamala Harris with 43,955 votes to her 40,190. This demonstrates that nonpartisan voters (NPPs) and independents can be critical allies when they align with Republican values. Our focus should be on ensuring that registered Republicans and like-minded voters turn out at the polls to secure future victories.
3.Fundraising to Support Outreach and Voter Engagement
Fundraising is a vital component of RPMC’s mission. To develop effective voter engagement programs in each of Merced County's five districts, we require resources to reach potential voters and ensure Republican voters cast their ballots. This work costs money, so your support is crucial. Please consider donating to help us achieve our goals and strengthen the Republican presence in Merced County.
