Vote YES on Prop 39

It's Common Sense Election Integrity

Election integrity is the foundation of self-government. Requiring basic identification to vote is common sense - it’s the same standard we use to board a plane, buy alcohol, pick up a prescription, or open a bank account.

Prop 39 would:

• Require government-issued photo ID to vote in person (or the last four digits of an ID for mail ballots)

• Provide free voter ID cards to any eligible voter who needs one

• Require counties to annually report how many voters on their rolls have had their citizenship verified

Most states already require ID to vote. This measure simply brings California in line with basic standards while protecting access through free IDs.

Vote YES on Prop 39 to strengthen trust in our elections.
