Focus - Because the People of Merced County matter

The Republican Party of Merced County is focused on one mission: building a stronger Republican team for the people of Merced County.

Our volunteers, candidates, donors, and grassroots supporters work tirelessly to elect Republicans who will stand for our values, support our communities, and fight for responsible leadership. That effort requires unity, loyalty, and commitment to the Republican cause.

Because of that, the Republican Party of Merced County Central Committee cannot and will not stand behind individuals, especially elected officials, who endorse, support, or campaign for candidates of another political party against Republican candidates.

Political parties exist for a reason. Republicans should be working to strengthen Republican candidates, not undermine them.

We believe our voters deserve clarity and commitment from those who claim to represent Republican principles. If someone chooses not to support Republican candidates, they should not expect the support of the Republican Party in return.

One reason Democrats have been successful politically is because they understand the importance of standing together as a team. They organize, support their candidates, and remain unified behind their party’s goals. Republicans in Merced County must learn from that example. If we expect to grow stronger, win elections, and effectively represent conservative values, we must be equally committed to supporting our Republican candidates and working together as one united Republican team.

As Republican leaders, we will be watching the actions of elected officials, candidates, and party figures closely in determining the level of support and standing they will have within our Republican organization. These are not threats; they are responsible and deployable actions that any serious political committee must take in order to protect and strengthen the integrity of its party and its mission.

Our goal is not division; our goal is strength, accountability, and unity. The Republican Party of Merced County is working to build a respected Republican brand that demonstrates discipline, unity, and leadership. We want state and federal Republican leaders to understand clearly that the Republicans of Merced County are organized, engaged, and not to be taken lightly.

That only happens when Republicans stand together, support Republican candidates, and remain committed to the long-term success of the Republican Party in Merced County.

Together, we can strengthen the Republican resolve in Merced County and ensure our party remains united, focused, and effective for years to come.
